Rutte Sloe Gin

Even though the distillery has not been in the hands of the Rutte family since the 1990’s , the tradition is kept alive and the company still follows the same unique distilling process as ancestor Simon Rutte did in his days. Nowadays, the baton has been transferred to 8th generation master distiller Myriam Hendrickx.
The original recipe comes from John Rutte, 7th generation. The current recipe is renewed by adding a distilate to the extract of sloe berries. For generations the Rutte family picked their fresh sloe berries in nature and still do that to this day.
